So one night came with a friend. I had been to the one in Montclair and had a good experience. Well we tried this location. Bad night there was an event at the Arena. So had to detour around to get here. Waiter was awesome. Checked on us for our drinks. I had the chipotle burger and requested it well done. He got the fish and chips. Well my burger had no kick even though it was chipotle. Also it was more raw than medium Donde. And my friend said his fish was more air than actual fish. Service was amazing but the food was not on point.
I was staying at the Element hotel adjacent to the restaurant. Was glad all I had to do was walk down stairs and go through the double doors just right of the elevator. Their atmosphere was dark and relaxing. Great music. Sports on the TV's. Bartenders were great. Very friendly and pleasant. Over my stay met some new friends. Their clientele are very friendly and up for conversations. The drinks are well poured. You can taste the alcohol your buying, in your drinks. Service was quick and they stay on top of serving you. The food was excellent. I placed my orders to go. I just prefer to eat in my room and leave their atmosphere to when I'm drinking. Over my couple of days there, I enjoyed their fish tacos, bison burger, mini corn dog bites, and my favorite the Ahi Poke Stack. Everything was well prepared, flavorful and fresh. I will definitely return to Eureka restaurant.
Greeted and sat right away. A couple of steps across from the Toyota arena and right next door to the Element Westin Hotel. Small but intimately spacious. Perfect seating arranged to look outside or sit outside. Good tap and mixed drink menu. Bar is perfect to have a quick burger, a drink, catch up on sports or great conversations. I had the fresno fig, waited a bit for our order and drinks, I ate my fresno fig so fast I forgot to take a picture. My kids had the Eureka American. We shared regular and sweet potatoe fries. This is a great spot to grab a drink before or after a show since it's next to the Toyota Arena.
The drink menu is great and so are the appetizers. The food is good and the price point is average.
The only con is the nachos! It was the driest nachos of my life. They need some salsa, beans, and some more diced veggies and cheese. I can't emphasize how little cheese were on there-they might as well call it tortilla chips.
Highly recommend the pigs in a blanket drink and summer cocktails.
We really like Eureka! Had a lovely server named Jo. Had truffle fries and an espresso martini...great service, great food, awesome vibe. This was our pre workout before the reign game.
Double smash burger, signature fries and a beer sampler. Everything tasted superb. Looking forward to trying other menu options next visit.
Second visit I tried the Napa Chicken sandwich. My new fave! Our Server was Nick. Best service we had. Even splurged for dessert and had the bourbon barrel cake. Yum, yum!
We were going to a concert and Eureka was conveniently across from the doors of the Toyota area. Our server was super cool. It did that him a while to come back to the table to take our order but they were busy. The food was delicious. I looked online and it said something about their burgers being made from carrot raised cows. lol something I never heard before, but hey it must work because it was one of the best juicy delicious burgers I have ever had. Nachos were delicious could have used a bite more sauce as everything ate a bit dry. All in all everything was delicious.
Visited for the first time the other day while in the area. We were seated in the outdoor patio area which had heaters above most seats. They had good space for larger seating arrangements too. Our server was super lovely and made our experience delightful. All of our food arrived as ordered and was delicious. We would happily come back here again!
